Get a Clue @ Your Library

Are you in sixth through twelfth grade and enjoy a fun reading challenge? From June 1-July 27, the summer reading program Get a Clue @ Your Library offers such a challenge. Readers will be rewarded with food coupons and may even earn a free paperback book. Also, participants will qualify for fabulous prizes at the end of summer. Can you afford not to read this summer?

Teen Book Discussion of Rules of the Road by Joan Bauer


Sixteen-year-old Jenna has been hired to drive the owner of a chain of successful shoe stores from Chicago to Texas. What adventures will she encounter along the way? Sixth through twelfth graders are encouraged to participate in this lively discussion. Please call 393-1414 by May 29 to register and you will receive a copy of the book.

Officer Ron Johnson shares the crime solving techniques utilized by the Identification Bureau of the Cedar Rapids Police Department. This program is appropriate for 10-18 year olds.
